The line "When I thought it'd all been done, When I thought it'd all been said" I think refers to doctors not knowing what is wrong with the writer. Sometimes when doctors don't know they will just give a diagnoses because patients want answers even though the doctors are still unsure of what the problem is. The use of "when" makes me think that things are still unsettled with the writer, and this line is followed by "A little bit longer and i'll be fine" this leads me to believe that the writer has faith that everything will work out.
However, maybe the writer is writing this looking back on the situation and is remebering how bad things once were. Since he knows that he got through that difficult situation than he knows that when other difficult situations arise, such as love, family problems, money, he can rise above them too. Even though they may not be solved over night, it will only be a little bit longer until things will restore.
